• Do the hamper & gift prices include delivery?
Hamper & Gift prices quoted on
the Planet Gifts web-site and annual catalogue do not include
delivery. All delivery costs are outlined in "Delivery
Info" (see Planet Gifts Home Page) and will automatically
be added to the final cost of your purchase in our payment
section.
• How long will it take for my gift to reach
the recipient?
All delivery times are outlined in
"Delivery Info" (see Planet Gifts Home Page). Keep
delivery times in mind when ordering to avoid disappointment.
• Does Planet Gifts deliver overseas?
Yes, Planet Gifts does deliver overseas.
To date we have delivered hampers & gifts to the U.K,
Northern America, Canada, Asia, New Zealand and all over Europe.
Planet Gifts uses Australia Post Economy Air to deliver overseas.
The estimated time for delivery around the word usually takes
between 1-3 weeks. However we do advise ordering any Christmas
Hampers early to avoid the Christmas rush. To order gifts
for delivery overseas free call 1800 070 222 and speak to
a Planet Gifts Team Member about Postage Charges. You cannot
order gifts/hampers for delivery overseas online.
• What happens if the recipient is not home/available
when my gift arrives?
That depends on the delivery instructions
you have given us when filling out the order form. If you
have requested the gift be left at front/back door if no one
is home, then your gift will be left in a safe location near
the front or back door. If you have chosen to have the "recipient
sign for delivery", then our couriers will leave a note
in the recipients mailbox informing them to call to arrange
a new time for redelivery. If you choose to have the gift
delivered to the recipients place of work, and he or she is
not available to sign for the parcel, then a colleague will
be asked to sign for the gift on his/her behalf.
• Do all prices include GST?
Yes, all prices quoted throughout
the site and in our catalogue are GST inclusive.
• How do I know if Planet Gifts has received
my order?
Planet Gifts checks all Internet orders
twice daily. On receiving your Internet order we will email
or call you to confirm the order has been placed and to inform
you of the expected day for delivery.
• If I don’t feel confident shopping online,
what alternate method of shopping is available to me?
Planet Gifts has a complete gift and
hamper catalogue available for you to view and order from.
To receive your free annual Planet Gifts catalogue, simply
free call 1800 070 222 and ask one of our team members to
send you one. Alternatively, come in to our new retail
outlet located at 310 Rathdowne Street, Carlton North, Victoria.
• How do I become a Planet Gifts VIP & what
does that entitle me to?
After your first purchase, Planet
Gifts will automatically register you as a VIP. This entitles
you to 5% off all gifts and hampers. Planet gifts will send
you a letter confirming your VIP status. When you shop online
as a VIP, you must enter your VIP details by clicking onto
the "VIP Log In" button on the top right hand side
of the home page. You will be asked to enter your first and
last name, along with your suburb area code. After completing
this step you will notice all hamper & gift prices will
reflect your VIP status.
• How secure is the Planet Gifts web-site?
If you chose to buy on-line, rest
assured we have in place one of the most secure transaction
sites in the industry. Our transaction site is hosted by the
Commonwealth Bank, which means your transaction details go
directly to a Commonwealth Bank Account and does not by-pass
any secondary parties as often occurs on on-line shopping.
Not even Planet Gifts have access to your transaction details.
Planet Gifts & The Commonwealth Internet payment site
offers you full encryption of all transaction & personal
detail by using Secure Sockets Layer Technology (SSL) to provide
you with the safest possible environment to shop in. This
state of the art shopping security is compatible with Netscape,
Internet Explorer, AOL, Web T.V and most other browsers.
• Can I design my own hamper to suit my personal
requirements?
Absolutley! We welcome you to design
your very own hamper to suit your specific budget and requirements.
Simply free call 1800 070 222, and one of our team members
will be able to help you design your hamper.
• I am looking for a particular gift which is
not available on your web-site, can you still assist me with
my gift purchase?
Yes we can! Simply call one of our
team members to discuss your specific gift requirements. We
will then endeavor to find that gift or a very close comparison
through our large integrated network of suppliers. Whilst
this service is free, there is a minimum quantity order.
• I want to personalize my bulk order purchase
with my company's corporate image. What options are available
to me?
We offer all our corporate clients
the option of branding their gifts with their company name
and/or logo. This is achieved by printing or engraving your
company name/logo onto gift cards/ribbons or one of our promotional
products (see Planet Gifts Home Page web-site for Promotional
Products) .To discuss your company's branding and gift requirements
